Business Phone

Make sure your customers can reach you.

F.Y.I. helps small and midsize businesses assess and improve their business phone and VoIP service, then move to a better fit when the current one is holding them back.

Overview

What this service actually does.

A phone system is judged by one thing: whether calls reach the right person and sound clear when they do. We start with what you have. We review the service, look at how it is set up, listen to what frustrates your staff and your callers, and identify what is actually causing the problem. Sometimes the answer is a configuration fix. Sometimes it is a different provider. We help either way, including coordinating the transition. F.Y.I. does not own a telecommunications network.

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers.

Is F.Y.I. a phone company?+

No. We do not own a telecommunications network. We help you assess what you have, decide whether it fits, improve it where possible, and move to a better fit when that is the right answer.

Can you work with the phone system we already have?+

Usually yes. Many businesses do not need a new system, they need someone to review the one they have, correct how it is configured, and make it behave the way they expected in the first place.

Why do our calls sound bad?+

Call quality problems often trace back to the network and the internet connection rather than the phone service itself. That is why we look at connectivity as part of any phone review.

Can we keep our existing phone numbers if we change providers?+

Number portability is normally possible, but it depends on your current provider and the number itself. We check that before any transition is recommended, not after.

Do we still need desk phones?+

Some businesses do, some are better served by software on computers and mobile devices, and many end up with a mix. It depends on who answers calls, where they sit, and what customers expect.

Who handles the vendor when something goes wrong?+

Where phone support is part of your service arrangement with us, we take that conversation on so your staff are not spending an afternoon on hold.
