IT support your team can actually reach.
F.Y.I. provides business technology support and management for small and midsize businesses that need dependable help without maintaining a large internal IT department.
What this service actually does.
- Nobody clearly owns the problem when something stops working
- Staff working around issues instead of reporting them
- Repeat problems that get patched but never resolved
- Vendors pointing at each other while your team waits
- Workstations and network equipment aging without a plan
- Support decisions made in a crisis instead of in advance
- Step 1Understand
We learn your systems, your people, and where time is actually being lost.
- Step 2Stabilize
We address the recurring problems first so the noise level drops.
- Step 3Support
Your team gets a clear path to reach us and a known point of accountability.
- Step 4Advise
We flag what should be planned, replaced, or reconsidered before it becomes urgent.
The ongoing program built around monitoring, maintenance, and planning.
Protection for the systems your team relies on every day.
Executive guidance when support questions become strategy questions.
Fewer support requests when staff use their tools confidently.
Straight answers.
What is the difference between IT support and managed IT?+
IT support is the day-to-day help your team needs when something is not working. Managed IT is the ongoing program around it: monitoring, maintenance, documentation, and planning. Most ongoing IT support is provided as part of a managed service relationship, and the two are usually delivered together.
Can we get help on a single project instead of an ongoing arrangement?+
Project-based business technology assistance may also be available depending on the need. Our primary work is ongoing support for small and midsize businesses within a managed service relationship, not consumer computer repair or one-off break/fix jobs.
Is support delivered remotely?+
F.Y.I. uses a remote-first support model because it is the fastest way to reach a workstation or system. On-site assistance is arranged when the situation requires someone physically present, and not every request needs a visit.
Do you work with our existing vendors?+
Yes. Vendor coordination is part of the service. When an issue belongs to your internet provider, phone provider, or a software vendor, we can carry the conversation so your staff are not left translating between companies.
What are your support hours?+
Our published business hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific. Coverage outside those hours depends on the arrangement we agree to with your organization.
Do we need to replace our internal IT person?+
No. Some clients have no internal IT staff, others have one person who is stretched thin. We can be the whole support function or the layer that backs up the person you already have.
How do staff reach you when something breaks?+
By phone at 562.413.1413 or by email to support@fyitechnologies.net. We agree on the intake path during onboarding so everyone on your team knows exactly who to contact.
Ready to talk to a partner who gets it?
Technology shouldn't be stressful.
That's where F.Y.I. comes in.
Tell us what is getting in the way, and we will help identify the right next step.
